Dr. Eunice V. Akoto is a Public & Nonprofit Management Educator and Consultant, with a PhD. in Public Administration/Program Management), a Master’s in Development Economics (Economics & Management-RD), and a Bachelor’s degree in Education. With over 15 years’ experience as an educator, operations staff, entrepreneur and a consultant, Eunice is currently an Associate Professor of Public and Nonprofit Management at Henderson State University. She also taught at Delaware State and North Carolina Central and worked as operational staff and performance analysts with State and Private agencies in England, Mississippi and Ghana. She specializes in strategies for leading and managing nonprofit and public organizations (including domestic and international NGOs), economic development, budgeting, transportation management policies, and performance evaluation.
Some of her operational, consulting, training and speaking experiences include state management plans, development of performance measurement tools for nonprofit transit projects, economic impact analysis, statewide coordination planning, and policy reports, effective grant writing for securing grant money for community programs, volunteer management, and board development.
Eunice has served on many boards and standing committees including a two (3-year term) on the Transit Transportation Research Board (TRB)’s Transit Management and Performance. She is also an active member of many professional and academic associations including the Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action, the Conference of Minorities in Public Administration under the American Association of Public Administrators, the Global Awareness Society International) and Academy of Management’s section for Nonprofits.
Dr. Edward O Akoto is a Management Specialist with a Ph.D. in Business Administration, MBA, and a Bachelor’s degree in Education. He is the Co-founder of EBAMConsult, specializing in evidence-based management and people/HR analytics. With over 17 years of combined experiences as an educator, research and management analyst, Edward is an associate professor teaching Management OB, International Management and MBA Evidence-Based Management at Henderson State University. He taught at Delaware State University before moving to Arkansas.
Dr. Akoto is an active member of many professional associations, including Academy of Management, Southern Management Association, South-East Academy of International Business, and Global Awareness Society International. He has reviewed and presented many papers at the annual conferences of these associations. His research interests include employee commitment, motivation, and performance, cross-cultural management, and global leadership.
